Alex Doak

Alex is a freelance lifestyle journalist based in east London, who writes and edits all things watches, cars and luxury, but mostly watches. Having graduated in biochemistry (all the great watch journalists do), he sidestepped into deputy-editing the inaugural incarnation of QP in 2003, before going on to contract-publish lavish glossies for Aston Martin and Sunseeker yachts at FMS Publishing. Freelance since 2011, he contributes regularly to City AM, The Telegraph, Mr Porter, Port and the Evening Standard.
